For some reason, we could not find the Morava K-theory of BO(q) in the literature. We needed that the Brown -Peterson cohomology was flat, which follows from having even Morava K-theory. We easily show that the Morava K-theory is even, but go further to give a basis. With flatness, there is another way to see the Morava K-theory and we reconcile our approach with that one. If there is time, we’ll take a look at the real Johnson-Wilson theory of BO(q) as well. Joint with Nitu Kitchloo. |
